Welcome to the inaugural year of our Technology Student Association (TSA) chapter in Urbandale! Led by our enthusiastic advisor, Phill Parker, our newly established TSA chapter is poised to make a significant impact on the local community and beyond.

Located in Urbandale, our chapter is proud to represent our community on the statewide stage. We are thrilled to announce that seven of our students will be attending the state conference on April 8th and 9th, where they will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete against peers from across the state. Our students will be participating in a diverse array of events that highlight their expertise and passion for technology. Some of the events they will be competing in include:

Webmaster: Students will demonstrate their proficiency in website design and development by creating interactive and visually appealing websites.

Coding: Participants will showcase their programming prowess by solving coding challenges and developing innovative software solutions.

VEX Robotics: Teams will design, build, and program robots to compete in exciting robotic challenges, demonstrating their engineering and problem-solving skills.

Forensic Science: Students will apply scientific principles and investigative techniques to analyze evidence and solve simulated crime scenes.

Music Production: Participants will showcase their creativity and technical skills by producing original music compositions using digital audio workstations (DAWs) and other music production tools.

Technology Bowl: Teams will compete in a fast-paced quiz bowl-style competition covering a wide range of technology-related topics, testing their knowledge and quick thinking.

And more! These events provide our students with valuable opportunities to demonstrate their talents, collaborate with peers, and gain recognition for their achievements in the field of technology. We are confident that they will represent our chapter with excellence and make us proud at the state conference!
